Gibson Lake Park

- All campers must register; a $15.00 per night fee is charged for each campsite. Complete the on-site registration envelope, place the appropriate fee (check or cash) for your entire stay in the envelope, and drop it in the drop box. Exact amount required. No change will be mailed.
- Drop slot and registration forms are located in the vicinity of the campground information sign next to the bathroom changing house. Campsites occupied after 11 AM will be charged for that day. Payment must be made at the time of arrival for the entire length of stay.
- One family per site. Number of camping units allowed at each site includes one principal unit, plus no more than two tents (one being a screen room) and one additional vehicle (car or truck) per site.
- Camping allowed at designated sites only.
- Camp fee must be paid before setting up, and the site must be occupied by a camping unit to maintain use of the site.
- Do not build or erect tables, docks, or other permanent structures.
- Do not cut standing trees or branches of trees. Do not put any nails in trees.
- Use refuse containers, bathrooms, and fire pits provided (fire in fire pits only). Extinguish all fires when you leave your site. Only one fire pit allowed at each site.
- Discharge of firearms is prohibited in the recreation area.
- Use of fireworks is prohibited.
- Discharge of gray water is prohibited.
- Off-road vehicle use is prohibited on the beach, but may be used from the trail to the campsite. All motorized vehicles are prohibited on the beach.
- Quiet hours are 10 PM-8 AM. Loud music, generators, loud talking, etc. are prohibited during this time.
- Pets are to be leashed, kept under control at all times, and should not be left unattended. We appreciate your help cleaning up after your pets for the next camper.
- All sites will be closed on October 1; no camping allowed after that date.
- Length of stay is limited to 15 consecutive nights. The camping unit must be removed from the park at the end of the 15-day limit for 48 hours. Registering a camping unit under different names is not permitted.
- PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS.
- VIOLATION OF CAMPING RULES MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF CAMPING PRIVILEGES.

Bewabic State Park

Bewabic State Park is located four miles west of Crystal Falls along US-2 on Fortune Lake.
Camping
The campground has 137 campsites in a shady, wooded area. Most sites have buffer strips between them for privacy. Each site has electricity, a fire ring, and a picnic table. Modern bathroom facilities are available in the two toilet/shower buildings located within the park. Two playgrounds with swings, slides, and other equipment are available for children.
Day Use
The day-use area is located on Fortune Lake. The shelter has picnic tables, electricity, and a fireplace. You can use the shelter on a first-come, first-served basis or rent it for the day. Make rental arrangements with the park office before arriving at the park.
Fishing and Boating
Fortune Lake offers plenty of perch, bass, bluegill, and walleye to catch. A boat launch is available for those with their own boat.
Summer Activities
You can also enjoy swimming, horseshoes, volleyball, hiking, and tennis at the park. An excellent beach and a bathhouse with changing stalls and modern bathroom facilities are available. A hiking trail beginning in the campground takes about one hour to hike. The trail leads you toward the day-use area. Along the trail, you will find benches for those who want to stop for a moment and enjoy the surrounding beauty.
