When can I sign up?Utility Customers can sign up for automatic bill pay at any time. Forms must be completed by the 25th of each month to be effective for the next months billing.How do I sign up?Forms are available at the township office or by clicking here.What type of account can I use for automatic bill pay?Customers can set up the deduction from either a savings or checking account. Once I’m setup, when will my payment be deducted from my account?Crystal Falls Township will pull payments on the 10th of each month. If the 10th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, then the next business day will be the payment draw date.Now that water is metered, how will I know how much my amount due will be each month?Crystal Falls Township will continue to send you a utility bill at the beginning of each month. All the information will still be there, along with the amount due. The amount due is what will be deducted automatically from your designated account.Can I choose to pay a higher amount than what’s due?No, the auto payment deduction will only process the amount due per your account.If you prefer to pay ahead on your utility account, you should not use this service.What if I don’t have funds available on the payment date?Transactions returned to us for non-sufficient funds will be assessed a $25.00 fee which is added to your next bill. We notify customers of insufficient funds as soon as information is made available to us. We do not submit a second time for returns.How do I cancel this service?Automatic bill pay can be canceled in writing to Crystal Falls Township at any time, however, a two week notice should be given to cancel by the next auto deduction date.
